da poker: Once again, Arturo Vidal has seen his name linked with Chelsea as Blues boss Antonio Conte is keen to reunite with the Chilean midfielder that he managed during their time with Juventus.
da imperador bet: A serial winner, Vidal has won three Serie A titles and the Bundesliga, as well as numerous other domestic trophies and two Copa America titles- which include Chile’s first ever international crown.
The 29-year-old, currently with Bayern Munich, is one of the most recognised players in world football and Chelsea’s interest would come at a cost if they were to land a move, with a deal potentially surpassing the £50m they paid Liverpool for Fernando Torres.
Whilst his statistics of one goal and zero assists does not stand out as exceptional, it’s worth noting that Vidal’s impressive performances see him dominate the middle of the park- shown by the fact he has 89% pass completion this season.
With Vidal likely partnering N’Golo Kante at Stamford Bridge if he arrives, the duo would be an extremely difficult pairing to break down.
