da aviator aposta: Leeds fans have finally been given something to cheer about after a rather unexpected announcement on Thursday afternoon.
The club revealed that the legendary commentator Bryn Law would return to the club to lead their matchday media coverage on LUTV, over 20 years since he was last behind the microphone in the commentary box at Elland Road.
It was a piece of news that left certain segments of the Leeds faithful absolutely buzzing, taking to Twitter to share their excitement.
One fan said it was a huge upgrade as he struggled to contain his delight whilst another individual deemed it as an amazing signing.
A further supporter branded Law a legend as another said bringing him back was a great appointment.
The broadcaster previously commentated on Leeds matches for local radio throughout the 1990s and clearly worked his way into the hearts and minds of the fanbase.
Speaking about his new job, the 50-year-old told the Leeds website: “It’s very exciting, it was the 15th August 1998 the last time I commentated on Leeds United, which was a 0-0 draw in the Premier League.
“Obviously it would be fantastic to be part of something that saw the club return to that level, at the end of what we hope will be an exciting season.
Leeds claim he’ll be at each home and away match alongside former players.
Here’s the best of the reaction.
