da 888casino: West Bromwich Albion are planning to reignite their pursuit of Rangers captain James Tavernier in January, according to Daily Record.
What’s the word?
da premier bet: The Baggies have consistently been part of the race for promotion this season, but it is very tight at the top.
Only four points separate first from sixth, and at the moment Darren Moore and his team reside fifth in the standings.
The club have failed to win their last three matches, and with the January transfer window just around the corner it appears that reinforcements are on the agenda.
The Daily Record claims that the Baggies had two bids rejected for Rangers skipper Tavernier in the summer, but they will return with another offer in two months’ time.

Do they have a chance?
Even though Rangers fans have had mixed feelings towards Tavernier in recent weeks, there is no denying how important he is to the Scottish outfit.
With that being said, it will be difficult for West Brom to prise him away from Ibrox unless they table a hefty offer.
So far this season, Tavernier has scored eight goals and registered eight assists in 21 appearances in all competitions.
The former Wigan Athletic right-back would slot well in the wing-back role at The Hawthorns, and he has proven that he can contribute in the attacking third.
It is certainly worth the Baggies reviving their pursuit, but they have a tough task in getting a deal over the line.
