Mauricio Pochettino’s side lost 1-0 to West Brom, and no player received more stick for his performance than Erik Lamela, who Lucas replaced in the closing stages.
With many fans feeling Lamela is simply not good enough and concerns growing about Heung-min Son losing his electric form from earlier this year, it does seem strange that Lucas has not played more.
